Combining Design with Build

Our clients are the visionaries, we just help make it happen

Design and Visioning

Our design process typically involves the following steps:

  1. Consultation: The designer meets with the client to discuss the project goals and assess the site.

  2. Site analysis: The designer analyzes the site to understand the existing conditions, such as the slope, soil type, and sun exposure.

  3. Design development: The designer creates a preliminary design plan that includes the layout of the space, as well as the selection and placement of plants, hardscaping elements, and other features.

  4. Presentation: The designer presents the design plan to the homeowner for review and feedback.

  5. Revisions: The designer makes any necessary revisions to the design based on the homeowner's feedback.

  6. Final design: The designer creates a final design plan that includes detailed drawings and a written specification of the materials and techniques to be used.

Construction and Installation

Our construction process involves implementing the design plan created by our design project manager. This process to implement the design typically includes the following steps:

  1. Preparation: The construction crew clears the site of any debris and prepares the soil for planting. This may include grading the site, adding soil amendments, and installing an irrigation system.

  2. Hardscaping: The crew installs any hardscaping elements, such as retaining walls, patios, walkways, and driveways.

  3. Planting: The crew installs the plants and shrubs according to the design plan, taking into account the soil conditions and sun exposure.

  4. Finishing touches: The crew adds any finishing touches, such as mulch, gravel, or decorative features.

  5. Inspection: The construction crew checks the quality of their work and ensures that everything has been installed correctly and safely.

  6. Maintenance: The homeowner is responsible for maintaining the landscape over time, including watering, fertilizing, and pruning the plants.

It's important to note that the exact steps of the landscape construction process may vary depending on the specific project and the materials and techniques being used.
